Review by hotel critic
Our family's stay at Adventure Hotel in downtown Nelson, British Columbia was a delightful experience. The hotel's central location allowed us easy access to the historic town's cultural offerings, like art galleries and farmers markets, while also being a stone's throw away from thrilling activities such as mountain biking and zip-lining.As a landscape photographer, I appreciated the Adventure Hotel's willingness to assist with professional services like photographers and event rentals, ensuring our family vacation was captured beautifully. The hotel's proximity to the Capitol Theatre also meant we could enjoy live performances from around the world, adding an extra touch of entertainment to our stay. While the room was cozy and lacked a few amenities, the family-friendly atmosphere and inclusive communal spaces like the kitchen area made up for it. Our kids loved mingling with other guests and the staff were always helpful in recommending family-friendly activities in the area.Adventure Hotel provided us with a comfortable and convenient base to explore Nelson's wonders, making it a great choice for families seeking a blend of relaxation and adventure in the Kootenays.
